About / Bio
Sarah Kim, originally classically trained in violin and piano for over 10 years, always aspired to be a singer. The commercial music industry, for Sarah, was just a dream that she kept a secret until she got to college. While auditioning for the University of Memphis Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music for violin performance, she also slipped in an audition for the Jazz Vocal program. Upon receiving admission to the program as well as a full tuition vocal scholarship, Sarah realized that others believed in her voice and switched her major to Music Business to pursue her commercial music dreams. Her classical training has taught her versatility and developed a great ear. Sarah now spends her time singing, writing, studying, practicing guitar, and performing.
